Hybris and Micro-services Performance Architect

Job Description

Position Overview: As the Hybris Performance Architect, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance, scalability, and reliability of our SAP Hybris Commerce platform. You will work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to design and implement solutions that enhance the performance and efficiency of the platform. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our eCommerce system can handle high volumes of traffic and transactions while maintaining an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Optimization:

1. Design and implement strategies to optimize the performance and scalability on our project on the SAP Hybris platform.
2. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the system, including application, database, and infrastructure layers.
3. Conduct performance testing and tuning to ensure that the platform meets performance benchmarks and handles peak traffic loads effectively.
4. Optomizations for Springboot based micro-services
5. Develop and maintain performance architecture standards and best practices for the Hybris platform.

Architecture and Design:

1. Collaborate with solution architects and developers to design scalable and high-performance eCommerce solutions.
2. Evaluate and recommend performance-enhancing technologies and tools that align with the Hybris platform.
3. Analyze. the collaborating micro-services to see the bottlenecks.
4. Implement and manage performance monitoring tools to track system performance and identify potential issues.
5. Experience on fine tuning. the Solr. Search.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

1. Analyze performance data and logs to diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues and outages.
2. Provide technical guidance and support for performance-related incidents and problems.
3. Strong experience in Dynatrace to understand the bottlenecks.
4. Conduct capacity planning to ensure that the Hybris platform can handle future growth and increased traffic.

Capacity Planning and Management:

1. Develop and maintain performance and capacity reports for stakeholders and management.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, SAPCC, professional services, and business stakeholders, to ensure performance requirements are met.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Provide performance-related insights and recommendations to project teams and management.
2. Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to the development of performance best practices.
3. Create and maintain documentation related to performance architecture, optimization strategies, and troubleshooting procedures.
4. Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on performance best practices and tools.

10+ years. of experience. Out of which. 2+ as a. performance Architect on java and. spring boot platforms

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Extensive experience with SAP Hybris Commerce, including performance tuning and optimization.
3. Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques, including caching, load balancing, and database optimization.
4. Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, JMeter).
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7.  Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
