Product Owner

Job Description

Position Overview: 

As the E Commerce Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of our eCommerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, marketers, and stakeholders to ensure our online shopping experience is optimized, user-friendly, and aligned with business goals. You will be the key driver of product vision and strategy, focusing on delivering value and achieving measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision and Strategy: 

1. Define and communicate the customer feedback as initiatives and other jira assets for. the various pods.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements based on business needs and customer feedback.

Product Development:

1. Work with Pod Managers,leads to translate product requirements into user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
2. Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation through to launch and post-launch support.
3. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that features and enhancements are delivered in alignment with business objectives.

User Experience:

1. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure an intuitive, engaging, and responsive user experience.
2. Conduct usability testing and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in the eCommerce platform.
3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user metrics to assess and optimize the effectiveness of product features and overall site performance.

Stakeholder Management:

1. Communicate product vision, updates, and progress to internal stakeholders and senior management.
2. Manage expectations and resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the development process.
3. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and customer support teams.

Project Management:

1. Work closely with Pod Managers to remove any roadblocks for the developers and QA team
2. Coordinate with development teams, designers, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of product initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an eCommerce environment.
3. Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing, and user experience principles.
4. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Miro).
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
6. Experience as product owner in Hybris projects is a big plus.
7. 8+ years of experience with at least 3+ years as product manager.
